North Union waltzed into their game on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-51 win over the Bellefontaine Chieftains. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly two points.

When it comes to explaining why Bellefontaine lost, don't look at Quinlan Zedeker. Despite the final result, she posted 17 points and three steals. Zedeker is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Laila Butler was another key player, putting up ten points and eight boards.

North Union pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Bellefontaine, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 10-5 record.

North Union has already played their next matchup, a 67-32 win against Shawnee on the 18th. As for Bellefontaine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-46 loss against London on the 18th.
