Maury entered their tilt with Cape Henry Collegiate on Monday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Dolphins 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Commodores also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Maury got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 36-34.

Keegan Anuar paced Maury's offense, picking up 11 kills. Anuar got some help from Sawyer Richard and his 22 assists. Anuar was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Maury's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9.

Coming up, Maury will host Granby at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Peninsula Catholic on the 21st.
