Basketball Recap: W D Mohammed Falls Short of Christian Heritage in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact W D Mohammed can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Christian Heritage Lions and fell 75-43. While losing is never fun, the Caliphs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 450th, while the Lions are ranked 126th).

W D Mohammed's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Christian Heritage, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-1.

W D Mohammed does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christian Heritage, they will square off against Paideia on Saturday. Christian Heritage knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 26 contests -- so hopefully Paideia likes a good challenge.
