Basketball Game Preview: Charles City Panthers vs. Surry County Cougars

The Charles City Panthers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Surry County Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Charles City will be strutting in after a victory while Surry County will be coming in after a defeat.

Charles City is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Carver College and Career Academy 75-56 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Surry County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-41 heartbreaker at the hands of Windsor.

Charles City's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 4-17. As for Surry County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.
