Volleyball Game Preview: Basic Wolves vs. Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners + How To Watch

The Basic Wolves will venture away from home to take on the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Basic is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since September 17th on Wednesday. They came up short against Sports Leadership & Management, falling 3-0. The Wolves have struggled against the Bulls recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Sports Leadership & Management scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Southeast Career Tech was able to grind out a solid victory over Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas on Thursday, taking the game 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Roadrunners in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.

Southeast Career Tech had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-16.

Southeast Career Tech's victory bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Basic, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Basic skirted past Southeast Career Tech 3-2 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
