Recap: Leo Lions vs. East Noble Knights
The Leo Lions were the 46-18 winner over the East Noble Knights when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Leo was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 33-32 to East Noble.
Leo lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kayla Adams, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Malina Lape was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
East Noble's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellisyn Will, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Quake, who scored five points along with two steals and two blocks.
Leo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for East Noble, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Leo will be playing in front of their home fans against Bellmont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Noble, they will head out on the road to challenge Fort Wayne Wayne at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Fort Wayne Wayne focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
