Basketball Recap: Skidmore-Tynan Comes Up Short

Skidmore-Tynan was the 47-27 winner over Pettus when they last played one another back in January of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats took a hard 52-33 fall against the Pettus Eagles on Friday. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Skidmore-Tynan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Pettus, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-17 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skidmore-Tynan will square off against Three Rivers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pettus, they will face off against Refugio at 2:15 p.m. on Monday.
