South Tahoe hasn't had much luck against North Valleys recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
South Tahoe is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Sparks with a sharp 25-8 win last Friday.

Haylee Boring was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, five stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Samantha Ebright was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
South Tahoe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sparks only posted a batting average of .250.
Meanwhile, North Valleys entered their tilt with Hug on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Hawks. Considering the Panthers have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Shia Sarchett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Sarchett was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
In other pitching news, Maddie Rebell looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, North Valleys got a massive performance out of Jordan Gainey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Annaka Fischer, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
South Tahoe has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.2 runs over those games. As for North Valleys, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
