After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jasper, Forest Park was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Gibson Southern Titans out 3-2. For the Rangers, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 loss the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September.
Forest Park had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 20-25, 25-16, 25-14, 16-14.
Ava Rea had an outrageously good game as she had 26 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Forest Park was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last seven contests.
