Genoa Area had lost five straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 5-10 to make it six. They fell 6-1 to the Oak Harbor Rockets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-5 back in April.

As for Oak Harbor, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games.

For Oak Harbor's part, Nolan Bickelhaupt tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. That's the most strikeouts Bickelhaupt has posted since back in April.
