Recap: Richmond Raiders vs. Hoke County Bucks

The Richmond Raiders can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They really took it to Hoke County for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-13 win at home. Winning may never get old, but Richmond sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Leading Richmond to victory were Jasiah "JoJo" Gilchrist and Jamyia "Juicy" Lindsey. Gilchrist scored 27 points along with five steals, while Lindsey scored 37 points along with five steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Lindsey has scored at least a third of Richmond's points.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Hoke County struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Richmond's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Hoke County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Richmond will be playing at home against Union Pines at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Richmond's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups. As for Hoke County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Southern Lee at 6:00 p.m. Southern Lee comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
