Volleyball Recap: Williamsburg Academy Takes a Loss

Williamsburg Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sumter Gamecocks.

Williamsburg Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Sumter, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-12-1.

Williamsburg Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pee Dee Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Sumter, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Beaufort on the 4th.
