Softball Recap: Hazen Takes a Loss

Hazen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Watson Chapel Wildcats, falling 15-5. That's two games in a row now that the Hornets have lost by exactly ten runs.

Hazen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Watson Chapel, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Looking ahead, Hazen will challenge England at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Watson Chapel, they will take on Little Rock Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Little Rock Southwest has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.6 runs per game on average), something Watson Chapel will no doubt try to take advantage of.
