Soccer Recap: Circle Comes Up Short

Circle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the McPherson Bullpups, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Circle can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 87th, while McPherson are ranked 22nd).

Circle's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for McPherson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2-1.

Coming up, Circle will host Buhler on Monday. As for McPherson, they will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Miege at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
