Basketball Recap: Woodstock Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Woodstock, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Sandwich Indians 54-28 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Blue Streaks: when they faced off against the Indians back in December of 2024, they had to take a 42-36 defeat.

Woodstock has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Sandwich, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodstock will challenge Johnsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sandwich has already played their next game (against Woodstock North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
