Columbian has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 3rd. They lost 7-0 to the Perkins Pirates on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Columbian of the 14-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Columbian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Perkins, they pushed their record up to 9-0-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Columbian will venture away from home to square off against Port Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Perkins, they will welcome Central Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
