Football Recap: Central Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

After losing to Westwood the last time they met, Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Central Cobras put the hurt on the Westwood Panthers with a sharp 28-6 win on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cobras.

Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Boyd led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Central pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Westwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 26-14 win against Park Vista on the 21st. As for Westwood, they have also already played their next contest, a 19-6 victory against Lincoln Park Academy on the 20th.
