Marlboro took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Red Bank Catholic, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Caseys on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Marlboro's win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Red Bank Catholic, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marlboro will host Donovan Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs are on a six-game streak of home losses, and the Griffins a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck. As for Red Bank Catholic, they will welcome Delbarton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
