Gonzaga is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Harvard-Westlake. The Gonzaga Eagles fell just short of the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines by a score of 66-63. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Gonzaga's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Harvard-Westlake, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
