Basketball Game Preview: East Hardy Cougars vs. Ritchie County Rebels

The East Hardy Cougars will square off against the Ritchie County Rebels at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

East Hardy took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They managed a 49-45 victory over Petersburg.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Hardy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooklynn Tinnell, who posted 21 points in addition to eight rebounds and eight steals. The dominant performance gave Tinnell a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Miller, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Ritchie County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 44-31 win over Nicholas County.
