Volleyball Recap: Riverdale Ridge Comes Up Short

Riverdale Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mountain Range Mustangs. The Ravens were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-16.

Tessa Nap paced Riverdale Ridge's offense, picking up five kills. Nap got some help from Veronica Lear and her 12 assists. Cadyn Pletkovic and Teagan Cox kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Riverdale Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mountain Range, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Riverdale Ridge and Mountain Range will both be playing Northglenn the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Norsemen at 6:03 p.m. on Thursday, while the Ravens will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
