East Chambers is a perfect 7-0 against Evadale since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Buccaneers are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Saturday, East Chambers came up short against St. Amant and fell 71-59. The Buccaneers were down 62-37 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Evadale also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Vinton by a score of 47-35.

East Chambers will have to keep a close watch on Brett Buckner and Clint Brewer, a pair of players who had a big impact on Evadale's prior game. Buckner posted 15 points and four steals, while Brewer earned nine points and eight boards. Buckner is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season.

East Chambers' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Evadale, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

East Chambers didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Evadale in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 60-56 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
