Basketball Game Preview: Sonora Broncos vs. Reagan County Owls

Sonora is 2-8 against Reagan County since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Sonora Broncos will look to defend their home court against the Reagan County Owls at 7:30 p.m. Reagan County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Sonora, who comes in off a win.

Sonora will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Sterling City, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Sonora took down Sterling City 60-41 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Broncos considering their 29-point performance the match before.

Meanwhile, Reagan County had to suffer through a 70-37 loss at the hands of Christoval.

Sonora is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Reagan County, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Sonora suffered a grim 76-53 defeat to Reagan County when the teams last played back in January of 2024.
