Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lewiston). Everything went their way against the Moscow Bears on Tuesday as they made off with a 16-6 win. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Bengals sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Lewiston got a massive performance out of Cal Robbins, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave Robbins a new career-high. Guy Krasselt was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Lewiston kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.4.

Lewiston's record is now 8-4. As for Moscow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lewiston beat Moscow by a score of 17-9 later that day.
