Volleyball Recap: Arp Extends Winning Streak to Six

Arp entered their tilt with Chapel Hill on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs. The Tigers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 12th (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-5.

Kinley Schminkey paced Arp's offense, picking up ten kills. Schminkey got some help from Landry Langley and her 15 assists. Langley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Arp's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Chapel Hill, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-12.

After both having extra time off, Arp and Overton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chapel Hill, they will take on Eustace at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
