A Region II recap November 5, 2013

Adding to the longest winning streak in A Region II this week, Christ Church Episcopal beat Whitmire 51-0. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Cavaliers.

The Wolverines lost to Christ Church Episcopal 51-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Southside Christian's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. John Walker threw for 348 and 3 touchdowns and Colby Boggs had 143 yards receiving. On the ground Walker contributed 42 yards. Jesse Ledford helped Southside Christian's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 69 yards.

He was 29-47 with 3 interceptions.

Jonathan Lee was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Sabres fell to St. Joseph's Catholic. He recorded 1 fumble.

Walker put up the best numbers through the air as Southside Christian lost to the Knights. Walker's favorite target this week was Boggs, who caught 12 passes for 143 yards.

Southside Christian's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Sabres feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Walker has thrown for 2,194 yards and 22 touchdowns this season, while Boggs has 89 catches for 1,219 yards.

St. Joseph's Catholic led the league in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on Steve Lockwood's team.
