It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wicksburg had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They skirted past the Saint James Trojans 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

Natalie Cole spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Wicksburg saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abbie Ellenburg, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Wicksburg's win bumped their record up to 48-7. As for Saint James, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 50-8 record.

As of now, neither Wicksburg nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
