Christian Brothers is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 67-55 victory over Carmel. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Padres are ranked 125th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Palo Alto didn't have too much trouble with Enterprise on Thursday as they won 54-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Christian Brothers has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-7 record this season. Palo Alto's win bumped their record up to 24-5.
