Soccer Game Preview: Flint Hill vs. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes + Official Tickets

The Flint Hill Huskies will head out to take on the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Flint Hill heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Georgetown Day. While losing is never fun, Flint Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 45th in Virginia, while Georgetown Day are ranked first in District of Columbia).

Meanwhile, St. Stephen's & St. Agnes managed to keep up with St. Albans until halftime on October 10th, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Saints came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 5-0. Considering the last time St. Stephen's & St. Agnes couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Flint Hill has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11-1 record this season. As for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes, they now have a losing record of 1-2-2.

Flint Hill couldn't quite get it done against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes in their previous matchup back in September of 2021 as they fell 2-0. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
