Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-19.
Despite the loss, Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer still got an impressive performance from Brogan Dunlap, who scored 19 points. That was a full 52.8% of Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennen Vaughan, who scored six points along with two steals.
Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Johnson County Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tri County at 8:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Johnson County Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Falls City at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Falls City is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
