Baseball Recap: Fraser Find Success

Fraser's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Roseville Panthers a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Ramblers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Fraser got a massive performance out of Carson Bennie, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Stanley Anderson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Fraser was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Fraser's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Roseville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fraser will square off against Chippewa Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Roseville, they will take on Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
