Softball Recap: Maquoketa Comes Up Short

Maquoketa lost against Anamosa on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cardinals came up short against the Raiders, falling 14-6. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by exactly eight runs.

Maquoketa's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Anamosa, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Maquoketa will head out on the road to take on Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anamosa, they have already played their next matchup, an 8-0 defeat against North Scott on the 31st.
