Baseball Recap: Claysburg-Kimmel Comes Up Short

After flying high against Southern Huntingdon County on Friday, Claysburg-Kimmel came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell 4-0 to the Mount Union Trojans on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Claysburg-Kimmel now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Mount Union, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Claysburg-Kimmel is set to challenge their familiar foe Northern Bedford County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mount Union will face off against rival Southern Huntingdon County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
