Softball Recap: Paramount Comes Up Short

Paramount came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 17-6 to the Downey Vikings. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost nine in a row.

Paramount's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Downey, their record now sits at 11-4.

Paramount has already played their next matchup, an 11-2 loss against El Rancho on the 2nd. As for Downey, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-3 victory against North on the 5th.
