Softball Recap: Buffalo Island Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Jonesboro last Monday, Buffalo Island Central came back down to earth. The Buffalo Island Central Mustangs fell just short of the Marked Tree Indians by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. Mustangs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Indians since on Tuesday.

Buffalo Island Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Marked Tree, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo Island Central will welcome Riverside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Buffalo Island Central their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Marked Tree, they will square off against Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
