Volleyball Recap: Crete-Monee Gets the Win

After losing to Reavis the last time they met, Crete-Monee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors came out on top against the Rams by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Crete-Monee found their leader in sophomore Alexis Farquhar, who had six aces and two assists. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Farquhar.

Crete-Monee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matchups.

Crete-Monee's victory bumped their record up to 15-17. As for Reavis, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-18.

Crete-Monee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Kankakee on the 21st. As for Reavis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Bloom on the 20th.
