Soccer Recap: Azle Comes Up Short

Azle entered their game against Granbury on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Azle Hornets fell just short of the Granbury Pirates by a score of 1-0. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Azle's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Granbury, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.

Coincidentally, Azle and Granbury will both be playing Brewer the next time they take the pitch. Granbury will host Brewer at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, while Azle will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on March 4th.
