Soccer Recap: Crossville Takes a Loss

If Crossville was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Geraldine last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crossville Lions lost 4-1 to the Collinsville Panthers on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Crossville's goal came courtesy of Mareli Vega, who's now up to five this season.

Crossville's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Collinsville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Crossville will face off against Moody at 7:00 p.m. on March 4th. As for Collinsville, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Sylvania on the 27th.
