River Bluff has gone 7-2 against Irmo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Gators will head out on the road to face off against the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. River Bluff's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Irmo's offense will have their work cut out for them.

While losing is never fun, Irmo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while Lexington are ranked seventh).

Irmo's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for River Bluff, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

River Bluff took their win against Irmo in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gators since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
