The Skyview Wolverines will head out to challenge the Overland Trailblazers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Skyview comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Things were looking good for Skyview after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 6-3 to Adams City.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Overland, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on Hinkley with a sharp 20-0 victory on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Trailblazers considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Uriel Hernandez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hernandez was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Matthew Jimenez-Solis, who scored four runs and stole seven bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.
