Volleyball Recap: Sierra Kukyndall's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fivay over Anclote + How To Watch

Fivay was the 2-0 winner over Anclote when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sharks on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Fivay's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sierra Kukyndall, who had 20 digs and three aces. Faith Lawson was another key player, getting 18 digs and two aces.

Fivay's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Fivay will be playing in front of their home fans against Hudson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anclote, they are taking a road trip to challenge River Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
