It's playoff time, and Elk Grove had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Bella Vista Broncos with a sharp 12-0 win on Wednesday. For the Thundering Herd, this counts as revenge for the 10-9 victory the Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2018.
Loie Moore was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jadyn Magnuson, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.
Elk Grove always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bella Vista only posted an OBP of .312.
