After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln School, Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 34-33 photo finish over the Hope Blue Wave. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 40-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Central's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Hope, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Central and Times Squared Academy will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. As for Hope, they will take on Classical at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hope is facing Classical at the right time seeing as Classical is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
