It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Homestead had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They claimed a resounding  51-14 win over the Menomonee Falls Phoenix. Considering the Highlanders have won eight matchups by more than 22  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Leading Homestead to victory were  Lee Zortman and  Connor Pangallo.  Zortman rushed for 150 yards and two  TDs on only ten carries, while  Pangallo rushed for 94 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only 11 carries. What's more,  Pangallo posted two  rushing touchdowns, the most he's  had since back in September.

The  victory keeps Homestead at an undefeated 10-0. The  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.7 points on average this season. As for Menomonee Falls,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-7.
 Coming up, Homestead will take on Elkhorn at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Highlanders will need to watch out since the Elks have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three games. Menomonee Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
