Lincoln piles up the points against Auburn

Recap: Lincoln Abes vs. Auburn Trojans
The Lincoln Abes waltzed into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Auburn 56-22 at home. Lincoln might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three games by 33 points or more this season.
Maurice Gosby jr had a dynamite game for Lincoln, rushing for 149 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. Jadeon Scranton was another key contributor, rushing for 129 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
Lincoln's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.3 points per game. As for Auburn, their defeat ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-3.
Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against Eastside Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Eastside Catholic will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Auburn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
