Dighton-Rehoboth Regional extended their winning streak to five on Monday, bumping their season record up to 10-2 in the process. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Seekonk Warriors. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 1-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

As for Seekonk, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Seekonk's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Kropis, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that Kropis has hit this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dighton-Rehoboth Regional is set to challenge their familiar foe Fairhaven at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 3.6, the Blue Devils 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Seekonk will square off against rival Old Rochester Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
