Tolono Unity had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Rockets, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Tolono Unity never let Warrensburg-Latham on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Warrensburg-Latham saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Drue Vallandingham had eight digs and one assist.

Tolono Unity's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Warrensburg-Latham, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-3 record.

Looking ahead, Tolono Unity will head out to challenge Westville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they will face off against Mt. Zion at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
