Basketball Recap: North Polk Continues Road Dominance on Friday

North Polk entered their tilt with Bondurant-Farrar on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 76-52 margin over the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Bluejays are ranked 139th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Polk's win was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1. As for Bondurant-Farrar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-13.

Looking ahead, North Polk will welcome Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carroll will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something North Polk surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bondurant-Farrar, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-23 defeat against Clear Creek-Amana on the 8th.
