Volleyball Recap: Liberal Comes Up Short

Liberal lost against Great Bend two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Redskins fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Liberal sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-27, 25-16.

Liberal's loss dropped their record down to 5-23-2. As for Great Bend, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 24-9.

Liberal has already played their next contest (against Hays), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Great Bend, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Dodge City on the 18th.
