Softball Game Preview: Tolland Eagles vs. RHAM Raptors

The Tolland Eagles will challenge the RHAM Raptors at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Tolland turned things around against Manchester on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Red Hawks, sneaking past 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 30, 2025.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask RHAM). Everything went their way against East Catholic on Monday as they made off with a 19-1 win. The Raptors not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25, 2025 (when they won 22-0).

Tolland's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for RHAM, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Tolland came up short against RHAM when the teams last played back in May of 2025, falling 14-10. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
